  • Lady Gaga wins the VMAs. No, not all of them, but most of them. Which is the same thing as winning all of them right?
  • Amy Winehouse makes news for doing something besides being addicted to drugs. Granted it’s just one song, but it’s something and it’s with Mark Ronson. How horrible can it be? How desperate am I for new music? Very.
  • I want to hear Terry Gilliam as a dog. Then again I’d watch anything British, so that’s not much of standard.
  • Calvin College takes the New Pornographers name too seriously. They also take themselves too seriously and don’t know what irony is. But mostly they take the New Pornographers name too seriously.
  • Another year, another Mercury Prize awarded. Another Mercury Prize, another year of me not caring about who wins.
  • My favorite Beatle get’s his own documentary. And Martin Scorsese teases me with the hope of hearing new Beatles-era George Harrison music. Damn his eyes.
