WMWC is the official radio station of the University of Mary Washington located in Fredericksburg, Virginia. Through this blog, WMWC is able to stream live to our student body and all around the world. Our radio personalities stream music from our station, located in the Woodard Campus Center, on a weekly basis. Our DJs can play music from their own collections as well as our station’s archives. WMWC has been student-run since its establishment in the early 1940’s. The station was originally located in George Washington Hall and later Lee Hall. WMWC is the last organization on campus to reference the university’s former name, Mary Washington College, after the 2004 transition to university status. My name is Jack Rose, I play in a band called The Futures League. We just released a new song that we are really proud of and were hoping you would give a listen. It was produced by Gus Seyffert who plays bass in The Black Keys.
